This week, I decided to make a baked Asian salmon recipe. This was going to be a light and flavorful meal that would be jam-packed with good ingredients!

1 pound fresh salmon cut into 2 pieces
1 1/2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
Asian Sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon sriracha
1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

Salmon and Marinade
1 pound fresh salmon cut into 2 pieces

Instructions
- Pat dry salmon and place it in a bowl with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Refrigerate and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place salmon on a lined sheet pan and bake for at least 15 minutes or until the salmon starts to flake off with a fork.
- While the salmon is cooking, mix ingredients for the sauce in a small mixing bowl.
- Serve salmon over rice and drizzle it with a little sauce. Serve immediately.
